General Division Fees

The following table contains a summary of the fees payable in relation to civil matters in the Supreme Court (General Division) with effect from 5th September 2009. No fees are payable in relation to criminal proceedings or criminal appeals under the Criminal Appeals Act 2004. * The additional 20 cents is a payment into the Suitors Fund required to be made on writs only. It is not part of the Supreme Court fee.

Reduction and Waiver of Fees

There are reduced fees payable for small business and non-profit associations. To be eligible for these you will need to complete and submit Form 1 (Declaration that a person is a small business or non-profit association). Word DocumentForm 1 is available for download or from the Central Office, Supreme Court, Stirling Gardens, Barrack Street, Perth.

If a fee is payable, a party may apply to have the Court defer, refund or waive the fee. The application must be made by submitting Form 2 (Application to Remit Fees).
