The Supreme Court of Western Australia operates in three locations:

  • David Malcolm Justice Centre, 28 Barrack St, Perth
  • Stirling Gardens, Perth (corner Barrack Street and St Georges Terrace)
  • District Court building, 500 Hay Street, Perth (some criminal trials only)

The David Malcolm Justice Centre is the location for:

  • Civil matters
  • Mediations
  • Central Office - for lodging documents in civil and criminal matters and single judge appeals
  • Probate Office

The Stirling Gardens site is the location for:

  • Court of Appeal 
  • Civil and criminal matters (Criminal trials are listed at the District Court building)
  • Magistrates Court Stirling Gardens
  • Industrial Appeal Court
  • There is no public registry in this building. 

Parking is not available at the Court. City of Perth parking stations nearby are:

  • below ground station behind Council House (entrance off 27 St Georges Terrace)
  • two parking stations on Terrace Road and
  • under the Concert Hall (also off Terrace Road).
