Welcome to the Supreme Court of Western Australia

The Supreme Court is the State’s highest court, with responsibility for both criminal and civil matters, and is the State’s main appeal court. The Court is divided into two divisions - the General Division and the Court of Appeal.

The Court is located at: 

David Malcolm Justice Centre, 28 Barrack Street, Perth.

Stirling Gardens, corner Barrack Street and St Georges Terrace, Perth.

Law Week 2022

Law Week 2022 takes place from 16 to 20 May and the Law Society has a dynamic programme of events for both the legal profession and the community.

Law Week is the Western Australian legal profession’s annual celebration of law, inclusion and justice in the community and the Law Society of Western Australia is proud to once again showcase an exciting programme of more than 30 events that will inspire, inform, and bring people together.

From social, educational, and fundraising events to free legal assistance clinics and informative webinars, there is something of value for everyone this Law Week.
