Geoffrey Peter Miller was appointed to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 1998. He was then a Queen's Counsel practising at the Bar, specialising in criminal and common law. He was appointed a judge of the Court of Appeal on 7 June, 2007.
Justice Miller was educated at Perth Modern School, and graduated with first class honours in law from the University of Western Australia in 1963. He was admitted to practice in 1965, and appointed Queens Counsel in 1980. He was President of the Law Society of Western Australia for the period 1980-81.
