Michael John Buss was appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court of Western Australia including a Judge of the Court of Appeal on 1 February 2006.
He graduated with honours in Jurisprudence and Law from the University of Western Australia and was admitted to practice in Western Australia in 1977. He was a partner of a Perth law firm between 1982 and 1987. Justice Buss joined the Independent Bar in 1987 and was appointed a Queen’s Counsel in December 1993.
