A special sitting of the Full Court of the Supreme Court of Western Australia will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, 2 February, 2005, at 9.30am to formally welcome Justice Peter Blaxell to the bench of the Supreme Court.
The welcoming ceremony will be held in Court 1 at the Supreme Court in Stirling Gardens.
Please note that only one camera will be permitted in courtroom 1 to film the proceedings. Television stations are asked to make their own pooling arrangements. Sound can be used, but no lighting will be permitted. Cameras should set up by 9.15 am. Pooling arrangements are not required for press photographers.
Note: Justice Blaxell was sworn in at Government House this morning, Tuesday, 1 February.
