The Full Court of the Supreme Court of Western Australia will sit on Friday, 19 December, 2003, bringing to a close the 2003 Legal Year. The proceedings will begin at 11am immediately following Admissions.
The Hon David K. Malcolm AC, Chief Justice of Western Australia, will address the Court on the general state of the administration of justice in Western Australia.
Representatives from the State Government, the Law Society of Western Australia and the Western Australian Bar Association will also address the Court.
Federal Court Judges resident in Western Australia will join the Judges of the Supreme Court on the bench.
Only one television camera will be permitted in the courtroom. Television stations are asked to make their own pooling arrangements. Sound can be used, but no lighting will be permitted. There is no limit on the number of press photographers in the courtroom. Please do not move once proceedings commence.
