Join in the celebrations for the Supreme Court's 100th birthday. This majestic building celebrates its centenary on Sunday, 8 June 2003, and to commemorate this important milestone, the Court will be open to the public from 1 - 4pm.
You'll find the Court in Stirling Gardens, Barrack Street, Perth (near the intersection of Barrack Street and St Georges Terrace). Tours will be held between 1pm and 4pm. A Supreme Court Judge will welcome members of the public at 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm and explain how the Court operates.
You'll get to visit the courtrooms where some of Western Australia's most famous cases have been heard, and the cells where its most notorious prisoners have been held while awaiting trial.
